Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist

Heidi has over 18 years’ experience across the international development and humanitarian sectors. Recently she managed Australia Assists, the Australian Government’s flagship civilian deployment mechanism supporting Pacific Island Countries to prepare, respond and recover from disasters.

Heidi designed projects for the Qatar Foundation combating Human Trafficking, including the Arab Initiative for Building National Capacities to Combat Human Trafficking co-managed with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Heidi specialises in strategic planning, project design, capacity development and social inclusion. She holds a Masters of Social Science and Bachelors of Economics and Asian Studies.
